Check Digit Calculation in Excel

Rather than recreate a page I have already prepared for my blog, here is the link to a page on creating and verifying a check digit using Excel.

 

This page is interesting by itself but then when you read about the challenges I faced with SUMPRODUCT() and how I used array constants, INT(), LEFT(), MID() as we as SUM, yoiu might start to appreciate that all is not what it seems!
